Wakefield Estate Riesling

The Estate line are the first wines released by the Taylor family; they represent the core of the winery and are benchmark Clare Valley bottlings. From their earliest vintages, Wakefield wines have received enormous critical success Tasting notes: Lifted lemon and lime citrus notes, followed by layers of subtle blossom, and enticing florals. Acidity soars in the mid-palate, balanced by good fruit presence; the hallmark of a great Clare Valley Riesling. Fermented in stainless steel vats; minimal fining and filtering before bottling. Pairs well with: The high acidity makes this Riesling a substantial match for pork dishes and smoked salmon.
