The Wolftrap Red

The nose is luxurious and intense, with aromas of ripe, dark fruits, plums and blackberries, along with delicate hints of cloves, cardamon, and black pepper, as well as a touch of perfume. On the palate the flavours of brambles, blackberry, liquorice, and biltong merge together, with the same spicecharacteristics following through beautifully. The midpalate is smooth and rich, with juicy cranberry, balanced acidity, and seamless oak tannins. Savoury notes such as black olive tapenade and cassis add to the layered complexity of the wine which lingers on a smooth, round finish.
