Saget Vouvray Marie de Beauregard

The rich, intense nose is both floral, with notes of lime blossom, and fruity, with a hint of quince, followed by an array of oaky aromas with vanilla nuances. This Vouvray’s sweetness is immediately apparent, revealing notes of vanilla which give way to a lovely freshness on the finish. This wine is aged in second and third use barrels so as to maintain the unique varietal characteristics. Excellent with foie gras, veal rounds, caramel custard, tarte tatin, poached peaches. After a few years aging it will pair nicely with white meats and poultry.
