Intense purplish red with potent fruit aromas marked by red and black fruits such as blueberries, plums, and tart plums complemented by notes of fresh black and red pepper, candied fruits, and spices. 12 months in French oak barrels lend complexity and toasted aromas that pair very well with the fruity characteristics of the Carmenère. The intense and fruity palate has a lactic note as well as excellent soft, round tannins that pair perfectly with ripe black fruits, mocha, and chocolate. Long, pleasing finish.
