Fontanafredda Briccotondo Piemonte Barbera

The nose is packed with black fruit, especially blackberries and plums. Slight spicy palate, hinting at black pepper and cinnamon, with juicy black fruits. Sweet, soft tannins come together in a closely woven texture that combines with great fruit character and crisp freshness on the palate. Aged partly in new, Allier oak barrels and partly in large Slavonian oak casks. After a few months, it is ligtly fined and bottled in late spring. Perfect pizza partner! The juicy profile also makes it an ideal match for spicy foods.
