Fontanafredda Barolo Riserva

Hints of black cherry, tobacco, dried mushrooms, nutmeg, pepper and some balsamic aromas. Warm, soft, with sweet and velvety tannins that go well with a fresh acid note; a long final persistence. Aged 3 years in Allier and Slavonian oak casks, then 2 years in bottle. The refinement length varies depending on the characteristics of the vintage, but it is never less than 62 months, of which at least the first 24 months of refinement take place in barrels. Ideal with red meat dishes and medium or mature cheeses; Also makes for pleasant after-dinner company.
