Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Pinot Gris Calcaire

Roche Calcaire is essentially a “2nd wine” of the famed Clos Windsbuhl, with the same Calcaire (Limestone) subsoil influence but from younger vines and parcels selected out of the Grand Vin. Tasting notes: Seafood in butter or olive oil with green spice, ideal with lightly poached scallops. Also fine with roasted root vegetables with sea salt and pepper. Pairs well with: Perfect with most seafood roasted over charcoal or wood fire, or with chicken & noodle dishes with subtle spice (Thai, Szechuan, etc.)
