We named this special reserve, ‘the Exception’, because it is the only vine producing white in the appellation Chiroubles. The desire to produce this wine came to us a long time ago when we cultivated a vine that we had resolved to remove because it was too old. We always remembered those beautiful grapes of Chardonnay, sun-kissed and sugar-laden.
