Clayhouse Adobe Red

In spite of drought conditions, the weather for the 2014 vintage was very good for growing wine grapes. We were provided with an abundant and quality-driven crop. Good fortune years like this are a blessing, and the wines show good depth of character. Tasting notes: Aromas of black cherry and blackberry have complexities of vanilla and cocoa. Dark, brambly fruit and strawberry jam flavors combine in the mouth of this complex blend. The wine has a rich mouthfeel, with soft, round tannins and a lovely lacing of toasty vanilla in the finish. Adobe Red is a reliable jack-of-all-trades, made to enjoy with grilled meats, red sauced pasta, fine cheeses, or just siping with friends.
