Château-Fuissé Pouilly-Fuissé Les Combettes

“Les Combettes” Château-Fuissé (1.3 ha) is a small valley located at the southern end of the “Côte de Fuissé”. The soils are extremely stony and limestone, naturally well drained, thus producing fine, very mineral and particularly distinguished wines. Tasting Notes Colour: Light yellow colour with light hints of green. Clean and brilliant. Nose: Floral and mineral with hints of exotic fruit and ripe apples. Mouthfeel: The attack is full and fresh with hints of mineral and white flowers. Rich towards the end. Harmony: Fresh, crisp mineral and good roundness. Food Pairing A lighter cooking marries great with this wine like steamed or fresh fish, scallops or scampi, delicate pasta and truffled dishes, fresh salads and light cheeses.
