To the eye, it has a ruby red colour slightly discoloured with delicate violet hues. On the nose what could be considered its 'signature', the spicy note (black pepper above all) emerges with clarity and incredible olfactory definition. This note is accompanied by a sweet, subtle and delicate fruit that makes it elegant right from the first approach. In the mouth, the silky sensation refers to a balance and elegance of absolute calibre, with tannin and acidity that are well present but extremely measured. Its typicality is evident, even if this balance and harmonic play bring it closer to a Pinot Noir than to the classic, rough, typicality of the classic native Friulian reds.
