The Avuá Amburana is another thing entirely: It's mellow and smooth from aeration in the wooden tank, but the compounds the spirit pulls out of the wood are anything but familiar. The strong woodiness oak brings in is gone, replaced by juicy black-cherry and spicy caraway notes.
