Deep violet color. Smoke-tinged blackcurrant, cherry pit and licorice aromas are energized by a peppery note that gains strength with aeration. Youthfully brooding on the palate, which displays bitter cherry, dark berry liqueur, licorice and cracked pepper qualities. Finishes chewy and quite long, with a persistent fruitcake note and youthfully, firm tannins adding closing grip.
